The Faint - some sort of Electro Goth Rock or whatever....always a fun show. When traveling through Australia my first time, I was on such a deadline to get a tour finished and photograph EVERYTHING for this company I was working for. I'd really get into a city, drop my bags, get onto my skateboard, throw on the music and race through the city, exploring as much as possible before it got dark. In northern Australia I was trying to race upto a mountaintop overlooking Townsville before sunset to get the photo and was drenched in sweat as I ran up this mountain. After getting the shot, I popped on this song and flew back down, skating down the road at terrible speeds. My shoes were so work, I actually had holes burnt through the bottom by the time I got down. I couldn't afford new shoes at the time so I had to use duck tape to keep the water out when we headed up to Cairns and their daily tropical rain. In the end somebody decided they wanted to drink a pitcher of beer from my shoe (it was so smelly...but it was just something these guys all did). Of course I let them and that was the last I wore those shoes.I left them to stink up the hostel dorm room for a while....they're prob still there since nobody ever cleans those things.
