I have heard this country song and shuddered before. This version from the Hermes House Band took on a differenet version.

I had stayed on a totally remote island on Fiji. There was almost nobody on this island except for a few of us traveler and a white family who dropped everything, bought this island and moved here in solitude to raise their kids in a Fijian manner.

We slept in little huts under the bright stars...bonfires and late night swiming at our front door, hiking and forraging for the fruit of life - coconuts (supposedly you can live a healthy life simply off of the milk and coconut meat inside).

There were large group feasts every night and some of the local cheifs of other islands would often come over and visit to share in a kava ceremony.

Every morning at sunrise, the head guy would put this song on FULL blast from huge speakers to wake everyone up for breakfast. As everyone stumbled from their huts, this song would put a huge smile on everyone's face each morning.
