Amber Pacific, from Seattle....haven't met too many people who have heard of them but heard them loads while out in the Laos for some reason, in a little town called Vang Vieng. Vang Vieng.....people come here for tubing. You get up early every morning with laods of other tavelers, grab a tube, take a tuk-tuk up the river and then jump in. As you float down this river, surrounded by incredible mountain and forrest you come up to riverside bars and restaurants pumping music (think lake havasu). You pull up your tube and mingle. Slides, volleyball, enormous rope swings, dancing.....all day till sunset; when you return home; shower, then grab a fantastic restaurant dinner for $2 and watch a bootlet movie that hasn't even come out in the US theatres yet.
